COVENTRY — The Coventry Police Department said it caught a local man in the act of breaking and entering into a residence last week.

Justin Imondi, 32, of Main Street, Coventry, was arrested Friday when Coventry Police officers discovered him trying to break into an unoccupied home on Station Street, the police said.

Neighbors on Station Street called the police to report an attempted breaking and entering taking place at a home on that street, according to Sgt. John Shields of the Coventry Police Department. The neighbors were able to provide a detailed description of the man allegedly attempting to gain entry at the rear of the house, he said.
